Kairos Prison ministry

Harvest City Church partners with Kairos Prison Ministry, a Christian nonprofit organization with the mission of sharing the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities. Through the Augusta, GA chapter, we serve, teach, train, love, and disciple the men of the Augusta State Medical Prison. 

 

what does volunteering with kairos look like?

 

Twice a year, we do a weekend long training, teaching, and discipleship intensive with the inmates where we worship through music, prayer and group teachings and activities. Once a month, we have the opportunity to do a "prayer huddle" with the inmates and encourage them to be disciple makers in the prison.
